The Adam Press is a small-scale Howden-based publisher and printer, founded and run by Mike Smith.

A regular Adam Press publication is HOWDEN MATTERS, a monthly magazine for Howden.

Howden is a small market town in East Yorkshire. HOWDEN MATTERS is read by close on 500 people.

The Adam Press logo comprises Mike Smith's one-time family cottage - Pinfold Cottage - in a village near Driffield, East Yorkshire, and his late dad's name.

NEW PUBLICATION!


ASPECTS OF HOWDEN, by Ken Powls, MBE,, £6, was launched on Friday, 29th February, 2008, in The Shire Hall, Market Place, Howden, East Yorkshire.

Signed copies were on sale throughout the day, and Ken was present between about 10.30am - 11.30am and 1.30pm - 2.30pm to sign copies personally.
